DStv pours out romance, movies & more in the silly season!

The silly season is here and the only way to really enjoy it is by subscribing to DStv!

Starting tomorrow, Africa’s biggest pay-tv platform will launch a pop-up channel dubbed M-Net Movies Collection which will run from Friday October 23 to Sunday November 22, with screenings from 9.30am to midnight each day.

“The pop-up channel will show a varied and exciting movie collection that includes some popular prequels, sequels, trilogies and sagas, including Mission Impossible, The Hobbit, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Star Trek, the Robert Langdon trilogy, Pitch Perfect, The Purge and many more,” said publicity and public relations manager of MultiChoice Zimbabwe, Liz Dziva.

Audiences of all ages are the target, and children can enjoy the Despicable Me and Transformers collections, while adults-only tastes are catered for by the Fifty Shades trilogy.

Dziva added that the channel will be available on the Premium package on DStv channel 111 and will be available on Catch Up until Thursday December 24.

As if that is not enough, the powerhouses of local entertainment also launched shows with exciting new episodes that will have you coming back for more this October.

Some of them are Selina Season Five, The Johnsons Season Nine, Kompleks and Unbroken just to name a few.

Most of these shows will also be available on Showmax.
