Fox VUE Goggle Test Review | Motocross
The brand new Fox VUE Goggle has to be our favourite item added to the 2019 Fox motocross product roster. After countless hours of research, development, and testing with the man himself, Ken Roczen, his vision has been brought to life. We’ve been riding with a set of VUE’s for a few months now, and they set the precedent in the world of goggles.
With peripheral vision the priority, the goggle is made to sit closer to the rider’s face, which in turn reduces distractions from the side of the frame and also fits deeper inside the helmet.
We found the vision through the lenses impeccable. The VUE is equipped with a hard, pre-curved, injection molded lens that provides perfect clarity and gives an increased level of impact resistance guarding against roost and other debris.
Our favourite feature of the google is creative and innovative way in which you remove the lens. The TruLock system uses a turn-to-release mechanism to remove the outrigger so you can easily swap lenses. This makes cleaning super easy and also enables you to quickly adapt to changing light conditions by swapping to the preferred lens.
Fox took their time in making sure these goggles have the best possible fit by incorporating a soft faceplate that molds to your face with a durable outer frame. The 45mm strap with a silicone backing locks the goggles in place on the helmet, and sufficient venting prevents overheating.
