Big Sean is showing his love for Jhené Aiko.
Ahead of Valentine’s Day this Sunday, the romantic rapper surprised his girlfriend with a heart-shaped floral arrangement. The beautiful topiary sculpture, which cost $1500, features peach roses, pink spray roses, blush carnations, and orchid blossoms. Jhené posted Sean’s sweet gift on her Instagram Stories and tagged him.
“Thank you lover,” she wrote alongside the kissy face emoji.
Last year, the couple celebrated Valentine’s Day with a trip to Disneyland. Sean also surprised his Valentine by renting a hotel room and filling it with roses and red heart balloons.
In a recent interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Jhené opened up about their relationship. “We’ll both be 33 in March. And so, like I said, we’re on the same path, it feels like,” she said. “And it’s just kind of what we’re going through in our thirties at the same time, but because we’re so close, we’re constantly discussing it with each other and giving each other advice…We have a great friendship.”
The TWENTY88 duo also shares a common love for reading. “Yeah, that’s one of my favorite things that we do together,” added Jhené. “Just like we’re in school, just take turns, ‘Okay, you read this chapter. You read this chapter and then we’ll talk what that means to us.’ And then, something will come up later on where we can apply it. And we’ll remind each other about something that we read and just constantly very invested in learning and evolving and just moving forward to our highest self.”
Back in October, Sean revealed the romantic day he planned for the couple’s anniversary, which included taking Jhené to the beach and showering her with roses and gifts. “I really planned out the whole day,” he told Montreality. “I remember I anticipated everything that she wanted to do, that she was gonna wanna eat, and I did it.”
