Ntukza has always stood up for SA Hip Hop when he feels necessary and this time, he also defends legends that have passed through the industry.

Ntukza recently took to twitter to rant about why he feels some SA Hip Hop legends don’t have albums. He explained that he feels it’s because of ‘gatekeepers’ in the SA Hip Hop industry. He expressed that he is unhappy about the gatekeepers of certain styles of hip hop.

He tweeted, “It’s so sickening that in SA Hip Hop we have the elites, we have the gate keepers of flows, styles, persons, smh gramma cops etc. whatever!

You people have suffocated SA Hip Hop with your all so knowing all so sophisticated mentality. Kasi Rap 4 Life.

Ntukza continued to explain that the SA Hip Hop ‘Standards’ are why some SA hip hop legends passed away without one or two albums, some even without any albums. He also mentioned that the standards haven’t stopped me, because he is working on his 6th studio album. “
