Games enter third day as Tom Daley leads medal hopes for Team GB

Tom Daley is diving for Team GB today as he joins Noah Williams for the men’s 10m synchronised platform final at 10am.

He made British diving history with his record-breaking four Olympic medals in the Tokyo 2020 games.

Last time around he won gold in the 10m synchro with Matty Lee, and his third bronze medal in the 10m platform.

Also in the pool, Matt Richards and Duncan Scott are in the final of the men’s 200m freestyle.

Another potential gold-winner, Tom Pidcock, is in the men’s cross-country mountain biking race. which starts 1.10pm BST.

He stormed to victory in the last summer Olympics after the favourite, Mathieu van der Poel, crashed early in the race.

Team GB women’s rugby sevens are in action in the afternoon in the group stage.
