Jilted Woman Attacks Mutare Magistrate With A Hammer Over Alleged Affair
A Mutare Magistrate is lucky to be alive after she was allegedly attacked with a hammer in her own home over an alleged affair.
iHarare has established that Magistrate Tamara Chibindi was attacked on Tuesday with a hammer by Thelmor Mudhefi accusing her of having an affair with her husband.
An irate Mudhefi is alleged to have accused the magistrate of romping with her husband, prominent Mutare lawyer Chris Ndlovu before she went on to her attack with a hammer.
According to a close legal source who spoke to ZimLive , Magistrate Chibindi was treated for head and hand injuries following the frenzied attack at her home on Tuesday afternoon.
“She was badly injured on the head and one of her hands. She received some stitches in hospital,” the source said.
A police report was filed and Mudhefi was arrested and remanded in custody. The police are currently investigating the case.
Meanwhile, Mudhefi has also, in turn, filed a complaint against Chibindi with Chief Magistrate Munamato Mutevedzi
In another related story, the Judicial Services Commission has launched an investigation into Bulawayo High Court judge Justice Thompson Mabhikwa. This after the judge’s nudes, bedroom photos, as well as raunchy WhatsApp messages, were leaked onto social media.
The compromising images and WhatsApp messages are suspected to have been leaked by an irate lover when she discovered that the judge was double-timing her with another woman.
