Man City XI vs Inter Milan: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and injury latest for Champions League final
City are gearing up to face Inter Milan in Istanbul — the second Champions League Final they have contested after losing to English rivals Chelsea in the final in Porto two years ago.
Pep Guardiola’s side can win the Treble if they find a way past Inter, having already sealed the Premier League trophy and added FA Cup glory when beating rivals Manchester United.
Walker is City’s only possible doubt after missing training on Tuesday morning, but he has been named in the squad that has travelled to Turkey.
Guardiola said: “He had a disturbance in his back. Yesterday he was not good. Today he was a little bit better. We didn’t want to take a risk and we will see in the next days.”
Walker is still expected to recover in time to play in the final, with City hoping for their maiden European crown, while Inter were crowned European champions twice in the 1960s and for a third time in 2009/10.
Possible Manchester City XI (3-2-4-1): Ederson; Walker, Dias Akanji; Stones, Rodri, Silva, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Grealish; Haaland
