Key moment in Moises Caicedo bid
Chelsea are set to hold talks with Brighton over a deal for Moises Caicedo.
Personal terms have reportedly been agreed between the club and player but Brighton are remaining staunch over their hefty price tag.
The Seagullsâ exact valuation varies from ÂŁ80m to ÂŁ100m, depending on who you read, but Chelsea have only had one official bid in the ÂŁ60m region rejected earlier this year.
Competition from Manchester United, who are targeting Caicedo after talks over Mason Mount collapsed, could be the factor that prompts Chelsea into finding a solution with Brighton – or missing out entirely.
Arsenal have high hopes for Jurrien Timber
Arsenal believe they can do a deal for Jurrien Timber with a ÂŁ10m saving.
Ajax want ÂŁ50m for the Dutch defender yet Standard Sport understand the Gunners plan to seal the deal for ÂŁ40m.
A second bid has landed at the Amsterdam clubâs desk, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Timber has already agreed to personal terms on a five-year deal in north London.
Big day ahead of us in Declan Rice deal
Manchester City have made their opening gambit to sign Declan Rice – but are still some way short of West Hamâs price tag for the midfielder.
After Arsenalâs second bid worth ÂŁ90m (made up of ÂŁ75m plus ÂŁ15m in add-ons) was rebuffed, City have offered a guaranteed ÂŁ80m with ÂŁ10m in add-ons, according to multiple reports.
It is unclear exactly how the deal is structured at this point, with that one factor in Arsenalâs bid being knocked back.
Pep Guardiola hold talks with Declan Rice earlier in the summer, say The Guardian, and City clearly look determined to get a deal done.
How will Arsenal respond? Fabrizio Romano reports on a third Gunners bid coming TODAY.
Buckle up…
Man United to miss out on Adrien Rabiot
It seems that Adrien Rabiot wonât be joining Manchester United this summer either.
The French midfielder, a long-time transfer target, is once again believed to have held talks over a potential switch to Old Trafford.
However, Fabrizio Romano now reports that he is close to reaching a full agreement with Juventus over a contract extension.
West Ham in talks over Denis Zakaria deal
West Ham look to be moving to put their plans for a post-Declan Rice midfield into practice.
With Manchester City and Arsenal now in a full-on bidding war for the England international, the Hammers are actively searching for his replacements.
Italian transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Denis Zakaria is in talks with West Ham over a permanent move to the London Stadium.
The Swiss midfielder is currently back at Juventus after a hugely underwhelming season-long loan stint at Chelsea, that was never going to be converted into a full-time deal, but appears surplus to requirements in Turin.
Arsenal to make third Declan Rice bid tonight
Arsenal will apparently respond to Manchester Cityâs play for Declan Rice TONIGHT.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who says the Gunners will submit their third offer imminently after previously seeing two bids dismissed by West Ham.
He insists that Arsenal are not giving up on their No1 summer transfer target, which fans will be very glad to hear as City look to flex their financial muscles once again.
Man City table ÂŁ90m Declan Rice bid
Huge breaking news on the Declan Rice transfer front tonight.
Manchester City HAVE now submitted their opening formal offer to West Ham for the England midfielder, it is said.
That is according to The Athleticâs David Ornstein, who confirms the bid is worth ÂŁ80m plus a further ÂŁ10m in add-ons.
Arsenalâs pursuit of top summer target Rice is said to be âongoingâ, with their second offer of ÂŁ75m plus ÂŁ15m in add-ons having been rejected last week.
The battle is now well and truly on…
Chelsea battling to sign Yunus Musah
Chelsea are battling for the signing of Yunus Musah at Valencia, reports claim.
With the likes of NâGolo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Denis Zakaria, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and potentially Mason Mount all leaving Stamford Bridge this summer, it seem highly unlikely that Brightonâs Moises Caicedo will be the only midfielder they chase.
According to Sky Sport Italia and Relevo, Chelsea and AC Milan both want to sign Musah, who could be sold by Valencia for just âŹ20m.
Fabrizio Romano claims the Blues had a verbal offer for the versatile United States international rejected in January.
Arsenal enter race for Xavi Simons
Arsenal are believed to be in the race for Xavi Simons.
The young Dutch midfielder is expected to leave PSV Eindhoven this summer after only one season but apparently does not want PSG to exercise their âŹ6m buy-back clause.
French publication LâEquipe claim that Arsenal are among a number of top clubs looking to take advantage of the situation and sign the former Barcelona youngster and La Masia graduate, who already has five senior international caps for the Netherlands under his belt.
Chelsea willing to pay Diogo Costa release clause
Chelsea are said to be ready to beat Manchester United to the signing of Diogo Costa.
United have been eyeing up the Porto goalkeeper as their long-term replacement for David de Gea, whose Old Trafford future remains subject to considerable doubt.
However, the likes of Andre Onana, David Raya and Bart Verbruggen are also said to be under consideration by United, leaving Chelsea the chance to pounce for Costa.
According to Portuguese outlet A Bola, Chelsea have been working on a deal for the Portuguese âkeeper and are willing to pay his ÂŁ64.5m release clause in instalments.
The Blues are also eager to find a new No1 for Mauricio Pochettino this summer with Edouard Mendy set to leave for Saudi Arabia and Kepa Arrizabalagaâs future also uncertain.
