Africa’s Biggest Pet Expo Takes Over Montecasino in 2 weeks time!

Enjoy three unmissable days of fantastic feline fun and hundreds of hounds, over 400 to be precise! If dogs are your passion, you can enjoy watching purebred hounds strut their stuff at three all-breed KUSA-affiliated championship shows, impressive dog agility demonstrations, dancing with dogs and protection work demos, and so much more.

Cat lovers will enjoy three all-breed cat shows, with over one hundred cats on display of unique feline breeds. Of course, your cat at home will expect some treats when you return, but don’t worry they’ve got you covered with an array of the top feline goodies in town.

If your affection is more towards the cold-blooded persuasion, then enjoy many reptile displays and slithery stands. As always, Pet Expo covers all bases with beautiful birds and parrots, spiders of all sizes, tons of fishes including Koi, and even Equestrian Vaulting. The kids will love the pet handling section, where they can get up close and safely personal with a number of exotic pets.

Pet Expo (previously known as WODAC) has delighted families for over 25 years. Not only is this one of the longest running pet events in Africa, but it is also the largest with over 15,000 attendees last year. It is simply a good old-fashioned, wholesome family event. Where: Montecasino, Fourways, Johannesburg.

Tickets: Tickets will cost R150 per adult for a general day ticket, R100 per child under 16, kids under 5 are free and family of 4 tickets are only R400. Pensioners are R100 each.

New Tickets: full weekend tickets will be available at R250 per adult regardless of age, but they’re limited to 2,000.
