Diamond Musica to perform at ZiFM Stereo, DRC Uhuru Celebrations next week

Popular rhumba outfit Diamond Musica will perform at the Democratic Republic of Congo’s 63rd  Independence Day celebrations  and fundraising dinner to be held at the Rainbow Towers Hotel in the capital Harare on June 30, 2023.

Sungura musicians, Suluman Chimbetu and other local rhumba dance groups will also entertain the guests.

The event is hosted by ZiFM Stereo, a unit of integrated media group AB Communications in partnership with Bere Inc.

In an interview with the Business Times,  AB Communications’ Group Business Development, Events and Digital Marketing Executive, Paida Samuriwo said, “the DRC Community will also use the opportunity to raise funds to assist those impacted by the devastating war in the East of Congo, displaced people, destroyed schools, the weak, hungry and injured.

“This will be a night of fun, music, entertainment and a great business networking opportunity.
